Rest in Peace Joe 1964-2007
My family and I are shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of Joe Riley. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family.
Joe was a gentle, smart and very funny friend who loved to laugh. Whenever we would get together we would always laugh and laugh until we cried.
This is a painful loss. He was such a decent, generous guy and one helluva talent whom we loved and admired.
Joe lives on, in his large body of work and in all of our memories. His influence will echo forever , and in thousands of little ways he's stll with us.

Great Blog and great photo of Joe! I still can't believe he's gone and it's been 9 months already. I Googled him and was so happy to see this photo.
I had pitched a show to Nickelodeon and Joe help clean up my drawings and make them not look like crap. He was about to help me with more drawings right before he passed.
In about a week (on June 24th), I pitch the expanded version of my show.
I know he'll be with me during that time. It is my sincere hope that this show will go some where and it can help keep Joe's memory alive for all of us and his son Mitch.
